I will not be cooking Christmas dinner this year. In fact, I won't be cooking consoada this year either. Since I will be at a home of non-Portuguese, the usual traditions will not occur. There always seems to be something missing on these particular types of holidays. Alas, I have managed a bake a few cookies and a couple of pies that are sitting and waiting to be eaten.
